Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2025: Rules of Entry

1. Aims
The Illustrators Exhibition connects illustrators and publishers while promoting children’s book art.
2. Eligibility
Open to illustrators born before 31 Dec 2007. Submit 5 works (published after 1 Jan 2023 or unpublished) based on the same theme in digital format (JPG/PNG, max 5MB, 150 DPI). Entry fee: €22 (students with codes exempt).
3. Deadlines
Online registration and file uploads: 2 July–18 October 2024, via bolognachildrensbookfair.com.
4. Winners
Selected artists send original or printed high-quality works. Winners featured in the Illustrators Annual and eligible for awards like the Fundación SM Award (€15,000 prize).
5. International Exhibition
The exhibition tours Japan, Korea, China, and beyond.
